Our mission is to support artists and venues by daring to take the risk of developing new work created by new and emerging artists. future theatre understands the challenges venues and companies face when developing and programming new BAME & diverse work. future theatre wants to be at forefront of that process of change, locally, nationally and internationally. It's imperative for our national theatres to represent the cultural landscape of the country we live in through the work it presents across all it's platforms... future theatre is more than just a company; it is a collective working in a supportive practice, created for the sole purpose of aiding the development of existing and emerging Black, Asian (BAME) and diverse voices.
