Benjamin Facey is an associate in the Delaware office of Gabell Beaver. Mr. Gabell's practice encompasses a broad spectrum including the representation of real estate developers, major financial institutions, real estate funds, REITS, retail owners and tenants, and various small businesses and entrepreneurs. Mr. Gabell has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate development, financing, acquisitions and dispositions, office and retail leasing, joint ventures and workouts, as well as in corporate structuring and governance.
Erik Gabell is a co-founder of Gabell Beaver. Mr. Gabell began his career with Morgan Lewis & Bockius, LLP following which he became cofounder of Paradigm Realty Alliance where he was the Chief Operating Officer and acting General Counsel.
Brandon Cook is Counsel with Gabell Beaver. His practice includes advising clients in connection with the formation and governance of Delaware corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, and rendering advice and legal opinions in connection with structured finance and commercial real estate transactions.
Before joining the firm, Brandon was an associate in the Corporate/Business Entity Counseling practice group of Berger Harris LLP and in the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy LLP. While studying at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, he served as associate editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and assisted clients seeking asylum as a pro bono contributor to the University of Pennsylvania Transnational Clinic. While studying at SciencesPo Paris, he assisted the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in furtherance of its analysis of global trade agreements.

Brian M. Gottesman is a partner in the Delaware office of Gabell Beaver. He has extensive experience counseling corporations and closely-held alternative entities (including limited liability companies, Delaware statutory trusts, and limited partnerships) on issues relating to their governance and management.
Brian has served as counsel in acquisitions, business formations, the establishment of subsidiaries and holding companies and sales of assets and equitable interests. He also provides opinions on Delaware law relating to limited liability companies, business trusts and other Delaware entities involved in real estate acquisitions, structured finance deals, business mergers and other transactions.
In addition to his transaction work, Brian has extensive experience with litigation in Delaware courts, particularly in the Court of Chancery. Brian has represented clients in breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and business divorce actions, as well as a wide array of other corporate and commercial litigation matters. He is certified as a court-appointed mediator by the Delaware Superior Court and is a member of the Panel of Distinguished Neutrals of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. Brian has served as both counsel and as third-party neutral in a wide array of arbitration and mediation matters. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation involving Delaware business organizations.
Brian graduated from Harvard Law School in 2003. From 2003 to 2010, he was a member of the Business Law and Venture Capital practice groups at the law firm of Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP. From 2010 until 2021, Brian was a partner at the law firm of Berger Harris LLP, where he worked with clients ranging from multinational conglomerates to single-member startups on a wide range of litigation and transactional matters.
Brian has written numerous articles dealing with limited liability companies and Delaware statutory trusts, as well as the history of trade and trade law. He was the general editor and co-author of the Delaware Statutory Trusts Manual (Matthew Bender, 2010), and a co-author and co-editor of Litigating the Business Divorce (BNA, 2016).Brian is also active in the community. He has served pro bono as an attorney guardian ad litem for the Office of the Child Advocate since 2005. Brian is a member of the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court and the Carpenter-Walsh Pro Bono Inn of Court, and served from 2004 until 2009 as an Associate Member of the Delaware Board of Bar Examiners. He is also a past member of the Board of Trustees of Albert Einstein Academy.

Katie joined Gabell Beaver from Vanguard where she served as associate counsel before joining the investment management group to run Vanguard's global broker and index relations team. Katie was also a corporate and securities and private equity attorney at Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia, PA, and she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell on the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Mark Beaver founded Gabell Beaver with the goal of providing sophisticated legal services to individuals and businesses on a more cost effective basis. Mr. Beaver began his career with the largest firm in Delaware - Richards, Layton & Finger LLP - providing corporate and business advice to companies located around the world. After several years practicing in Delaware, Mr. Beaver moved to his hometown of Philadelphia to join the law firm of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP, where he gained substantial experience with M&A transactions, private investment offerings and private investment fund formation.

Michelle P. Quinn is a partner in the Delaware office of Gabell Beaver. Her practice focuses primarily on rendering advice as to matters of Delaware law relating to Delaware entities, including limited liability companies, partnership, corporations and business trusts. Michelle has extensive experience in rendering advice and legal opinions in a wide variety of transactions, including investment fund transactions, joint venture transactions and structured finance transactions. Her work also includes rendering advice with respect to mergers, conversions and other structural changes as well as contractual interpretation issues.

Suzanne focuses primarily on alternative dispute resolution. She is certified by the Delaware Superior Court in mediation, is listed on the register of mediators and arbitrators of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, and is a member of the American Arbitration Association's consumer arbitration panel.
Suzanne also has significant experience representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, principally involving contract and other commercial disputes. Prior to joining Gabell Beaver, Suzanne was a partner with Berger McDermott LLP from 2012-2023, and an associate at Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP from 2003-2012.
Suzanne is passionate about serving her community. She has volunteered pro bono legal services as a guardian ad litem with the Delaware Office of Child Advocate since 2005, is a member of P.E.O. International, a philanthropic organization focused on the support and advancement of educational opportunities for women since 2011, and volunteers as a youth leader for the Cub Scouts.
