Founded in 1916, Kansas City University (KCU) is committed to the education of students in osteopathic medicine, biosciences, bioethics and the health professions. KCU's College of Osteopathic Medicine has played an integral role in training more than 10,000 osteopathic physicians... KCU's College of Dental Medicine located on our campus in Joplin, Missouri, announced on March 1 it has received initial accreditation status from the Commission on Dental Accreditation. With initial accreditation granted, the College of Dental Medicine is approved to accept applications for the first dental school class of 80 students to start in July 2023.
