The concept of Montana Quilting Company came after I experienced a life changing motorcycle accident. Like my Grandmother and mother, I caught the sewing bug at a very young age and with their help, became quite adept in the art of sewing. Neither of them quilted, but they loved to make clothing and stuffed animals and other assorted pretty things. After the accident, I was unable to stand for a couple of years because of surgeries and recovery times. I took my first quilting class about a year into my recovery and as the saying goes, I was hooked! I love to quilt, machine embroider and make clothes and my goal is to share this love with anyone interested... We are lucky enough to live in the beautiful Flathead Valley of Northwest Montana and I must say that we truly have world class quilters up here that I've been lucky enough to learn from...
