Ashtan is a Principal at Precursor Ventures. Prior to joining Precursor, Ashtan spent time building companies and products at the earliest stages as a founder and product leader.
Ashtan began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup. Ashtan is a proud graduate of Howard University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Ayanna is an Operations and Finance professional with over 5 years of experience working for Investment Banks. Prior to joining Precursor, Ayanna worked at Credit Suisse as a COO in the IT department and later as a COO within Prime Services. Ayanna, also, spent time working at Bank of Montreal in the Financial Sponsors Group. Ayanna graduated from Baruch College with a Bachelors in Finance.

Chap is an experienced operator with a focus on consumer products, having built products for Google and Dev Bootcamp. Currently, he's exploring opportunities at the intersection of real estate and fintech. Chap's 10+ year career spans finance, venture philanthropy, and education technology.
Charles Hudson is the Managing Partner and Founder of Precursor Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in the first institutional round of investment for the most promising software and hardware companies.
Prior to founding Precursor Ventures, Charles was a Partner at SoftTech VC. In this role, he focused on identifying investment opportunities in mobile infrastructure.
Danielle is the Investor Relations lead at Precursor Ventures. Prior to joining Precursor, Danielle held several business development and investment research roles at Citi, JP Morgan, and most recently, LightBay Capital.
Danielle graduated from New York University with a Bachelors in Economics.

Ethan is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence. He brings a wealth of experience in product management, UX design and data analytics, having launched products across many different markets for large and small, early- and late-stage companies. Prior to joining us as an EIR, Ethan served as Head of Products for the New Devices Group at Intel, a role he took on when Intel acquired BASIS Science.
Ethan's 15+ year career spans wearables, social gaming, mobile, social media, machine translation, and search technology for companies such as Intel, Basis Science, Disney, Playdom, Skyfire, Gaia Online and Yahoo!.

Lindsey's career path has been a mixture of finance, banking, and startups over the last seven years. She has a passion for investing and blockchain, and has been investing in cryptocurrencies for the past four years. Lindsey also has a strong desire to improve the education system, and worked at an NGO in Argentina to build a school system. In her spare time she loves to host poker nights and run. Lindsey graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her BA.
Marina, a Senior Associate and checkwriter at Precursor Ventures, brings a formidable background to the team. Before joining Precursor in 2021, she honed her skills during her tenure at Bloomberg's equity research division, specializing in comprehensive coverage of public companies within the semiconductor industry. Now positioned as a dynamic generalist investor, Marina is based in NYC and directs her attention towards making investments, typically ranging between $50,000 and $100,000, into excellent founders of pre-seed and seed-stage companies. Marina has a Bachelors in Finance from American University.
Sydney is a Principal at Precursor Ventures.
Prior to joining Precursor, Sydney gained experience working in technology startups in business development and product marketing. Prior to her work in tech, she managed public-private partnerships for the NYC Government's Department of Education and Office of Financial Empowerment. Sydney graduated from Berkeley with her MBA and Duke with her BA.
