THE UNEMPLOYED MBA

After college, I worked at the same hell-hole pit for 6 years. Yes, it was freezing. That should go without saying. But they would have the air conditioning on in December. In Phoenix, we have a warmer December than probably every other state, but why spend money to cool a building when it is 60 degrees outside? At this particular place, one of my friends complained (I don't complain to facilities anymore, and we'll get to that.) The facilities team came by my desk and told me I was just being a wimp because the building didn't have a heater. Then they tried to close my vent over my desk and noticed that cold air was blowing out of it. Then they apologized.*...
