Cheryl began her career in Augusta, Georgia and worked for Club Car for 10 years. From there she continued working in industry another 6 years and then spent the next 12 years working part-time in public accounting until she joined the UDC team in 2013. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration from High Point College, a Masters of Business degree from Augusta College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

A native of Maine and a graduate of both the University of Maine and Johnson University, David and his family relocated to Johnson City in 1993. David was an executive with a national restaurant chain for over 22 years leading teams in both restaurant operations and information technology. After leaving the restaurant industry in 2008, David and his wife published a regional travel magazine for two years focused on our beautiful northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia area. In 2010 David started working with a local property management company in Johnson City focused on residential rentals, and in 2015 David joined UDC. David also holds a license as an Affiliate Real Estate Broker in the state of Tennessee.

As the President and Chief Executive Officer of UDC, Shane oversees all aspects of the business and is responsible for the strategic planning and growth of the company. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and currently holds general contracting licenses in residential, commercial, and industrial applications in the States of Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
During his 20+ years of working in residential and commercial real estate, Shane has developed more than 4,000 apartment homes and has been actively involved in storage, retail, office, hospitality development, and construction. Shane has served as a board member and as an executive board member of both the Johnson City Area Home Builder's Association (JCAHBA) and the Tri-Cities Apartment Association (TCAA) and is actively involved in the community. Shane and his family reside in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
