CITY DENTAL - Key Persons
City Dental Glenorchy was originally started as "Glenorchy Dental" by Dr Ernest Dixon in 1969 and has now been operating continuously in the same location for over 50 years.
Dr Karen Wong is originally from Malaysia where she grew up and completed her high school studies. She then moved to the UK where she completed her final years of schooling and then went onto study a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Queens University Belfast.
After graduation Karen spent the next three years working in various locations across the UK before making the move directly to Tasmania to join the City Dental team.
Karen has a great passion for aesthetic dentistry and a keen interest in dealing with nervous patients as well.
Karen is a lovely dentist and always endeavors to provide the very best care for her patients. She is a family person at heart and is usually spending her spare time with them.
Sarah graduated from La Trobe University in 2013 and has been a part of the City Dental team since 2014.
After graduation Sarah moved from her home town of Melbourne to work in the North of Tasmania. She loved Tasmania so much that she made the move down south and has been working with us ever since.
Sarah is a strong believer in prevention and enjoys taking the time to educate her patients on maintaining their oral health. She is a kind and compassionate dentist who also has a keen interest in treating patients with dental fears.
During her spare time she is a keen photographer who enjoys exploring Tasmania.
