Alessandro Baroni

Prior to joining Fedrigoni in 2019, Alessandro was a partner at DH Private Equity Partners (former Doughty Hanson), a pan-European private equity firm based in London, where he worked from 2005. From 1998 to 2005 he worked at PwC, first in Management Consulting Services in Milan and then in Corporate Finance and Recovery in London. Alessandro has a degree in Business Administration from the Bocconi University of Milan.

Alessandro Gaiati - Chief Procurement Officer

Alessandro joined Fedrigoni in 2019 having gained international experience from a broad range of countries and business areas, including consumer goods, household appliances and automotive. He has also held various roles with Royal Philips, Electrolux, Candy S.p.A., Same Deutz-Fahr within Procurement, Operations and Quality. Alessandro graduated from the Università Cattolica of Milan and has a post-graduate diploma in Chemistry from Turin Polytechnic University.

Chiara Medioli Fedrigoni

Job Titles:
  • Chief Sustainability & Communication Officer
Before joining Fedrigoni in 2002, Chiara worked at Vodafone (1995-1998) and Bertelsmann, where she was founder and co-shareholder of the company Booktailor in London (1999-2002). Chiara is also President of the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation and Deputy Director of Assocarta. She has a degree in Economics from Ca' Foscari University of Venice and an MBA from INSEAD (France).

Davide Bustreo - CFO

Job Titles:

Before joining Fedrigoni in 2020, Davide held the position of CFO and Purchasing Director at Continental Foods. Davide started his career as an auditor and transaction advisor in Andersen before joining Bocchi Group where he held the position of CFO until the transfer of the company to CVC Capital Partners in 2006.Between 2006 and 2019 Davide worked as an executive, covering various roles in portfolio companies (including CFO of Univeg until 2013) and as industrial adviser of CVC Capital Partners. Davide has a degree in Economics from the Bocconi University of Milan.

Francois Gilbart

Job Titles:

Before joining Fedrigoni Group in 2022, Francois was an Operating Partner at Bain Capital Private Equity. He worked from 2008 to 2022 as an advisor to management teams and boards of Bain Capital portfolio companies across Europe, US and Latin America, in a broad set of industries from manufacturing to distribution and business services. Francois started his career from 2001 to 2004 as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Between 2004 and 2008 he worked at Fortis (now BNP Paribas) where he held various positions in business development for the Private Banking and Global Markets divisions across Europe and Asia. Francois has a degree in Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School.

Fulvio Capussotti

Before joining Fedrigoni Group in 2019 Fulvio was Executive Vice President at Ahlstrom-Munksjö for the Filtration and Performance Business Area. He started his career in the Ahlstrom-Munksjö Group in 2002 where he held various positions in Operations, R&D, Sales, Business Development and General Management. From 1997 to 2002 he held various positions in R&D and Portfolio Management at Solvay. Fulvio has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Turin Polytechnic University.

Gionata Berna - CIO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Information Officer
Gionata has a degree in Management Engineering from the University of Padua. From a career start in Management Control and Internal Audit at the Marzotto-Valentino Fashion Group, he moved on to Information Technology, first as a Project and Program Manager at Benetton and then as IT Director for Riello Group. He has twenty years' experience in corporate information systems, managing complex IT transformations in multinational contexts for the fashion-consumer goods and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Marco Nespolo - CEO

Job Titles:

Marco Nespolo became CEO of Fedrigoni Group in November 2018. Before joining Fedrigoni, Marco was CEO of Cerved Group during its public company phase between 2016 and 2018, after his role as General Manager of Operations from 2013 to 2016. Marco started his career as a financial analyst at Citibank in 1997, before joining Bain & Company in 1998 as a consultant until 2005. Between 2005 and 2013 he worked for Bain Capital in London where he was in charge of development and post-acquisition value creation activities for portfolio companies, both in Europe and globally. At Bain Capital he managed TeamSystem, FCI, Ideal Standard (managing ad interim the Southern Europe region in 2008), Styron/Trinseo (managing ad interim the Emulsion Polymers division for part of 2012), Atento and Cerved Group (as Vice-Chairman until the sale to CVC in 2013). Marco has a degree in Business Administration from the Bocconi University of Milan.

Monica Magrì - CHRO

Monica joined Fedrigoni in 2019 after leaving her role as HR Director at Cerved Group. Before that Monica was Head of HR for Europe at AllianzGI, and from 2007 to 2011 she was Head of HR for Western Europe and International Distribution at Pioneer Investments (UniCredit Group). She also worked as Head of HR Management Services with Ferrero International after her role as HR and Communications Director at the SIFI Group. Over the course of her career she has gained significant experience in large-scale transformation programs during times of change. Monica has a Diploma in Ontological Coaching from Newfield Network (US) and is a certified Executive Coach (Newfield Certified Coach™ and the International Coaching Federation). She has also completed the Executive Team Coaching Program from Ashridge Business School (UK). Monica has a degree in Political Science from the University of Catania and a Masters from the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).
