In 1996 Irene Tinker began hosting monthly mixers at her home, bringing together local folks who were changing the world through their work. Over micro brews and shared philosophy GlobalPDX was born. In 2012 Green Empowerment helped transform these informal gatherings into strategic networking events for the global development community... GlobalPDX Working Groups are customizable collectives within our broader community. GlobalPDX Members can create a Working Group around a topic, to confront a challenge, or based on professional similarities... We are a dynamic team with unique backgrounds and areas of expertise. We put our heads together to deliver you a network that is unique, supportive, and fun.
