Aaron Boettcher joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2020 after more than a decade of working in public tax compliance and business consulting. In his role as a Senior Tax Manager in the Firm's Green Bay office, Aaron specializes in business and individual tax planning, tax return compliance, succession planning, and business consulting for clients. He has extensive experience calculating the Employee Retention Credit for clients. Recently, Aaron has taken the lead on providing clients with in-depth help in regard to Paycheck Protection Program forgiveness. He has consulted clients with everything related to the PPP from initial loan application questions, allocating loan proceeds across expenses, and applying for loan forgiveness.

Abe Leis - CEO

Abe Leis is the firm's Managing Partner, based in La Crosse, WI, the firm's headquarters. He joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 1998 after starting his career as an intern. Daniel Moriarty

Daniel Moriarty has worked in public accounting since 1981. He became a partner in 1991 at Anderson Tackman, which merged with Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2018. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day office operations of the Mequon, WI, office, Dan provides tax, audit and advisory services to family-owned and operated businesses. His work focuses on industries that include real estate, manufacturing, distributing and transportation. He provides services to contractors, service industries, family limited partnerships and investment companies. Dan also provides audits of employee benefit plans. He assists businesses with acquisitions, sales of businesses and succession planning.

Throughout his career, Jeff has worked with a wide array of clients. Jeff specializes in providing accounting and tax advice for owner-managed businesses, with a focus on working with manufacturers. In addition, he provides tax advice for preparation for individuals, corporations, estates, and trusts.
