Founded in 1978 by Professor Frank L. Maraist prior to the advent of the Internet, the Louisiana Civil Law and Procedure Newsletter for years was the go-to reference for legal updates for the Louisiana practitioner. Continuing that tradition, the Newsletter, now co-written by LSU Law Dean Tom Galligan, strives to provides the same succinct case summaries as before with the convenience of the computer age.
