Fatimo Olabisi Okeowo

Fatimo Olabisi Okeowo is a passionate educationist with a strong desire for fostering positive behaviour in children. Her educational philosophy is based on giving children the right support while working in collaboration with them to harness their potentials and make progress. This philosophy has culminated in a track record of helping children exceed in their academic expectations. After graduating from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with a Diploma (1998) and a B.Sc. (2004) both in Integrated Science Education, she has gone further to obtain a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham. She has a diverse background in Education in the Northern and Western parts of Nigeria. Over the years, she has gained proficiency in the pedagogy of the British and Nigerian curricula and has taught Science for over 13 years. Fatimo joined Meadow Hall School in 2007 as a class teacher for Primary 5 and rose to the position of a Year Group Leader, a position she excelled in and maintained for over 4 years. It was not surprising therefore that she was moved to the College section of the school as HOD, Science for Infant, Junior school and College. In this capacity, she ensured that the three sections of the school maintained a seamless flow of the curriculum from one Key Stage to another. After a year in the College, she was appointed Vice Principal Academia, a position she held for 6 years rising to be Principal, Meadow Hall College and now the Director of Studies Meadow Hall College. In this capacity, she has mentored teachers and students, most of whom have testified to her good works and exemplary level of commitment to excellence. With her years of professional experience and exposure to courses and best practices both within and outside Nigeria, Fatimo Okeowo is highly versatile in 21st century teaching approaches which she passionately shares with teachers as a Principal and as a Subject Matter Expert for Meadow Hall Consult to many schools. She is an ardent believer in the principles of Emotional Intelligence as an avenue for managing interpersonal behaviours and interactions, Teamwork and Collaboration as growth strategies for optimum team performance. Fatimo is married with two lovely boys and enjoys touching and changing the lives of young children and teenagers.

A profile teacher, trainer and leader in Education and Pastoral Care, she graduated with B.Sc honours degree as the best female graduating student from the Department of Botany of the University of Ibadan, in 1995. She also had a Distinction in her executive (postgraduate) diploma from Obafemi Awolowo University with further post graduate studies and qualification from Nottingham University, UK. She has well over a decade and a half cognate working experience that has exposed her to training professionals across several sectors of the economy and has attended several continuous professional development courses in the UK on Literacy, Curriculum, etc. She is a notable member of Meadow Hall Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Olayinka Obafisoye, the Head of School at Meadow Hall, is an education enthusiast and practitioner with well over 20 years of teaching and leading experience. Her career is borne out of a passion to be an effective instrument of positive change in the education sector. A strategic visionary, she provides quality academic leadership which was instrumental to the school's seamless digital transition during the pandemic as well as successfully co-leading the school to being the first in Africa to achieve the COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Patron Accredited membership. Her 21st-century leadership drive and style continue to enable her to deliver Meadow Hall's vision in line with core organisational values, as well giving voice to the hitherto voiceless. A gifted communicator, she is the spokesperson of Meadow Hall Education interfacing effectively with both internal and external constituencies fostering mutual benefit and continuous collaboration. A champion of ECM (Every Child Matters), Olayinka was the first Instructor/franchisee in the East London area of Stratford for Kumon UK, and the Literacy Co-ordinator in a leading Catholic school in the UK. She is particularly grateful for her legacy as the first Year 4 teacher at Meadow Hall, at its inception. She is a graduate of the University of Ibadan {B Ed.} and holds a Master's degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos. She also holds a Post Graduate Degree from Middlesex University, London, obtained her Qualified Teacher Status {QTS} from the National College of Teaching and Leadership, England and a Master's degree in Applied Education Leadership and Management from the University College of London. She is a certified John Maxwell Coach and is happily married with two sons.

Ms. Delphine Ekamma Nnakwe is an Educationist with over 20 years experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in Nigeria. She is passionate about giving children of age five and below a Firm Foundation and watching them achieve their milestones. She has a proven track record of successfully implementing effective teaching strategies, overseeing curriculum development and training Infant School Teachers. She is totally committed to teaching and nurturing the children in a play based, conducive and safe environment.
