Andrew specializes in corporate accounting and tax preparation for clients of all different industries. Primarily, he works on compiled financial statements throughout the year including necessary adjustments to the accounting systems, completing corporate tax returns, and preparing the shareholder personal tax returns as well. Additionally, he works on audit and review engagements, accounting system cleanup projects, and personal tax returns.
Andrew graduated from St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2011 along with a Master's of Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting in 2012.
Andrew and his wife Corey live in West Irondequoit. They have an English Bulldog named Arnold who keeps them busy. Andrew loves being active, watching almost all sports, and movies. He roots for the Detroit Lions and tries to make it to a game in Detroit each season (still always pulling for the Bills, don't worry.) Also, he loves hosting and cooking for his family and friends at his home by the pool.
Ashley began her journey with Nacca & Capizzi in 2019 as an intern while completing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at St. John Fisher College. She transitioned to a full-time role shortly after graduating in 2020. Ashley primarily focuses on individual and business tax returns along with QuickBooks and QuickBooks training for clients.
Raised on her family farm in Marion, Ashley developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for community values. She now resides in Gates with her two dogs, Otis and Nala. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, helping on the farm, and traveling.
I hear they call people in my situation Boomerangs! After being out of the formal workplace for several years, I am very happy to be back working in the financial industry. I earned my B.S. in Accounting from St. John Fisher College and began my career as a CPA in the audit division at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). It was a wonderful benefit when Lisa Capizzi joined the same firm as I had the opportunity to work with her on several engagements. After public accounting I held vice president positions at Citibank and Fleet Investment Services managing financial reporting, planning and analysis and accounting operations. While taking a leave of absence from the corporate world to raise our family, I assisted my husband with various small businesses by performing a variety of functions including administrative, financial, forecasting and document review.
Now, as a Client Service Associate at Nacca & Capizzi, I am excited to bring my financial knowledge and utilize my organization and accuracy skills to provide administrative and client support. Outside of the office, my husband and I have 2 adult sons and enjoy golfing, puzzles/games, and traveling.
Cynthia has been with Nacca & Capizzi since 2013, initially joining as a temp during tax season, and now serving as an Administrative Assistant. She greatly values the relationships built with clients and enjoys catching up with them each tax season. Known for being the in-house baker for coworker's birthdays, Cynthia adds a sweet touch to our office celebrations.
Cynthia resides in Gates with her husband Gary, and their dog, Seamus. Cynthia also cherishes time spent with family and especially her new granddaughter. A Disney enthusiast, she loves traveling to Disney Parks on both coasts and hopes to some day visit the international Disney Parks.
Proudly working in public accounting for 27 years, David began his experience in CPA firms in Delray Beach, FL where he worked closely with small businesses and individuals. Now in his 18th year at Nacca & Capizzi, David specializes in tax compliance with IRS and state agencies ranging from tax preparation to payment plans and offers in compromise. Being part of a professional team and taking pride in the work we do and the services we offer are some of the things that he believes separates our firm from the others.
David enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, Casey and David and visiting his granddaughter, Summer, in New Jersey. When he's not helping his clients, David loves traveling, playing the piano, collecting and selling vinyl albums, raising ducks and is a wood-working hobbyist. David is a graduate from SUNY Poly with a Masters Degree in Accountancy.

Joseph Nacca received his Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1975. After gaining experience with a local accounting firm and obtaining his CPA certification from the State of New York in 1978, he opened his own practice in June of 1979. Joe partnered with Lisa Capizzi in 1991 and together they continue to provide high quality services to their clients.
Joe has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1978. His Italian heritage and fluency in the language offers him a unique opportunity to give back to the Italian-American community.
Joe also enjoys giving back to his community by volunteering with the Meals on Wheels program through the Visiting Nurse Service.
Judy has worked at Nacca & Capizzi since 2007, starting out at the front desk greeting all of our clients. Judy got to know so many of them and their families and was promoted to the position of Office Manager in 2014. Not only does she oversee daily administrative functions but also excels in building strong, lasting relationships with clients, transforming professional interactions into genuine friendships. She looks forward to every tax season knowing she will see all these clients again and eager to meet new ones.
Judy grew up in Greece, NY and still resides there with her family. Outside of work she spends time with her family and takes vacations to any place that has a beach!
Kelly started with Nacca & Capizzi in 2011, where she began her accounting career after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree at SUNY Brockport. Kelly specializes in QuickBooks and assists many clients with QuickBooks training. Kelly also focuses on individual and business tax returns in a variety of industries.
Kelly grew up and currently resides in Greece, NY with her husband Troy, son Dominic, and their two cats Sabre and Bingo. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the Adirondacks, and rooting for the Buffalo Bills & Buffalo Sabres.
Maria received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport. She has been in the accounting industry in various roles since 2007, and here at Nacca & Capizzi since 2021.
Maria enjoys spending time with her husband and son. In the warm weather you will find her on the golf course every chance she gets. Cooler weather will find her cheering for her favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Anytime of the year you will most certainly see her with her nose in a book.
Peter is a CPA with 20 years of experience in public accounting. Peter is responsible for coordinating and supervising audit and review engagements, covering a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, professional service, not-for-profit and real estate. Peter is also responsible for assisting clients with other specialized projects like cost segregation studies and business valuations. His deep understanding of financial analysis and compliance ensures clients receive accurate, thorough, and reliable results.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys seeing live music, playing guitar, and spending time with his dog, Wolfy.
