I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Counsellor. I specialise in Attachment Informed EMDR; I find this approach to EMDR really powerful as it allows us to access the root of our current difficulties by processing unresolved memories; this frees us from past unhelpful beliefs and coping strategies... I have been working solely online now since March 2020; I have found that online therapy, particularly EMDR, is equally as effective as if we were sat in a room together. For many clients it can feel more relaxed to access therapy from a comfortable and familiar environment; also there is no stress of having to get somewhere on time...
