Flex Legal was founded in 2017 by James, a software engineer, and Mary, a property litigator. They shared a belief that humans are central to law and a passion that the industry needs to change... Flex Legal started with a simple idea: to connect busy legal teams to law graduates. Today, Flex Legal's award-winning platform enables hundreds of law firms, in-house legal departments and other legal teams to find the best interim paralegals and lawyers. And through the Flex Trainee programme, we are helping to drive social mobility in the legal sector... Shortly after I met James, an experienced software developer, and we began working together on a tech platform that could connect law students to firms and in-house teams as efficiently as possible. We analysed what was taking too long in traditional recruitment, and how we could use tech to make it easier.
