4HG CARPENTRY - Key Persons

Caleb Herbel is the fourth-born in a family of ten (He has 3 sisters and half a dozen brothers). He began his carpentry as a young boy playing with a plastic hammer and tools. Through various projects in his parents' home and for family friends he has developed skills (and a tool collection) to build quality furniture and decorations, as well as to do other general construction and repair work. Some of his favorite aspects of woodworking are router joinery (used in making dovetails joints) and turning God's marvel of wood into something that is useful and a blessing. When he is not working with wood, Caleb appreciates time spent studying God's Word, spending time with his family (yes, you can actually enjoy spending time with your siblings and parents!), hiking in and enjoying different parts of God's creation, and studying history.
