AFRO FISHING (PTY)

Afro Fishing (Pty) Ltd was started in 2007 in Mossel Bay. The core business comprises a canning operation located in Mossel Bay harbour and produces pilchards in tomato sauce and pilchards in chilli sauce for domestic markets. The business also has an ice plant and fishing vessel. This is the only fish cannery on the south and east coasts of South Africa... A large % of our production goes into the National Schools Nutrition Programme where we supply ‘affordable protein' for school feeding. We are an approved Department of Basic Education canned fish supplier.
