Ben Haines

Ben has over 20 years of professional experience in residential and commercial lumber, building supply sales, and leading successful sales teams. His experience includes in depth knowledge of building supply products, customer service, marketing, profitable sales analysis, and new business acquisitions. He consistently meets the needs of residential, commercial, and custom builders, home owners, contractors, and architects. Ben has a demonstrated track record of success in leading sales teams in a fast-paced environment and driving continuous improvement and change to support organizational growth. He has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in the building industry. In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family. Go Nats! With all of his accrued knowledge of the industry over the years, we are happy to have Ben leading our sales team!

Billy Donnelly

Billy has been in the industry since March 1989. He began his career as a Receiver for a small family-owned company called Smitty's Building Supply. It was from his time spent at Smitty's that he credits all of his institutional knowledge of the Building Industry. Billy started from the ground and worked his way up in the company. He began as a Stock Receiver, Yard Helper, Warehouse and Dispatch Manager, then eventually into Sales. In 2010, Smitty's made the decision to close their doors, but with all of his knowledge in the industry, The Lester Group swiped him up, and here he has been ever since. Billy started at Jim Carpenter Company in February 2010 in Sales, then eventually was promoted to Sales Manager a few years later. In October 2015, The Lester Group opened Building Supply of Manassas, and asked Billy to be the General Manager of the store. Billy loves what he does, and especially loves his customers, some of whom are life-long customers. In his free-time, Billy enjoys spending time with his 2 girls, and attending baseball games, especially the Washington Nationals. Billy brings enthusiasm, knowledge, and care to this company and our customers. We could not be in better hands, and as a team we are blessed to be led by Billy!

Chris Miller

Chris has been supplying building materials to local builders since 1987. He has worked with many top builders and architects from commencement to completion of their projects. Chris specializes in windows and interior trim work take-offs, and most especially, all new products. Chris joined The Lester Group in 2012. Chris was born and raised in Northern Virginia, so he brings to our customers a wealth of local building knowledge. We are proud to have his expertise on our team!

Dave Fletcher

Dave is an experienced salesman with over 25 years of knowledge in the Building Supply Industry. He spent the first two years of his career learning every aspect of the business, from building loads, to unloading lumber trucks, and receiving special order trucks. For the past 23 years, Dave has been in Outside Sales. Dave joined The Lester Group in 2015. He is happily married to Angela, and together, they have four children, ranging from the ages of 25 to 13. Dave is a huge fan of all DC sports teams. Dave not only offers our customers great service, but he also carries a hearty laugh, and a big smile along with him. He is a joy to have on our team!

Debbie Mawyer

Debbie started her career in the industry at Lowe's in the late 80s, as cashier first, then in the Credit Department, working her way into Delivery/Receiving up to the Department Manager. In 1999, Debbie joined The Home Depot as Contractor Sales Manager and Delivery Manager, and also, in 1999, after going part time with The Home Depot, Debbie moved onto BFS in a Sales Coordinator position. She joined The Lester Group in 2009, and has been with us for over a decade! Debbie sells anywhere from Maryland, to DC, and all over Virginia. She is 100% customer oriented, and cares deeply about all of her customers. She always considers, their needs, budgets, and timelines. Debbie has many long-term customers from back in the early 90s, with whom she still works. She believes "If it is important you will find a way! If not, you will find an excuse. I like to think I always find a way". With her servitude attitude and life-long customers, Debbie has proven her worth! We are humbled to have her on our team!

Donnie Reed

Donnie has a long and impressive history in the Building Supply Industry. He began his career as a mechanic before being hired by Smitty's in NOVA. From Smitty's he moved onto GDC Contractors, and then to BMC before joining The Lester Group in 2019. Donnie enjoys working, and he especially enjoys that his work allows him to be surrounded by good people. In his free time, Donnie's hobby is working on small engine repairs. In the warmer months, you may find him tinkering away on engine repairs in the store parking lot by his home. Donnie is our most skilled Forklift Operator, and we are impressed, daily by his talent. We are blessed to have him on our team!

Ervin Mickles

Ervin began his career in the Building Industry at A&A Homes as a subcontractor over 10 years ago. In 2017 he joined The Lester Group, first as Yard Helper/Load Puller, then moved his way inside to Sales Coordinator. As a coordinator, he assists, KC, Chip and Debbie in their customer sales. Ervin's willingness to support the team every day is inspiring. Aside from work, Ervin is an avid soccer fan. We appreciate Ervin's readiness to contribute in all aspects of the business, and are thrilled to have him on our team!

Gregg Lindahl

Gregg brings to us 25 years of experience in the Building Material Industry. His career has been expansive, and impressive. Serving two major metropolitan areas, Chicago, and the DMV, Gregg brings to our customers, a wealth of knowledge and expertise. He joined The Lester Group in 2017. Gregg is known for his attention to detail in every aspect of his work, most especially he focuses on sales completion, and in ensuring contractors are satisfied and able to complete their projects, before deadlines. Gregg's customer service includes New Home Builders, Custom Home Builders, Commercial, Deck Builders, and Remodelers. Gregg is a fan of NIU Huskies football, and enjoys kayaking and hiking. Gregg enjoys assisting our customers in all components of their projects, and his attention to detail and experience are traits we are amazed to have on our team!

Jamie Rose

Jamie started her career in the business when she was 16, and now has 44 years of experience under her belt. She began working in the industry just outside of Pittsburgh, at a small home improvement store called Clabers. 44 years later, we are so happy she found us! Jamie began her career with The Lester Group over 15 years ago, with about a one year absence while she pursued other interests. She has been married to her husband, Rick, since 1993, and has one surviving daughter, Harmony, who will be 40 years old this July. Jamie has 4 grandsons aging from 22 years old to 16 years old. Her greatest joy, other than her family, are her 6 dachshunds, 1 lab, and 2 cats. Gardening is her happy place. Jamie offers our customers first class service with over four decades of intuitional knowledge. We are blessed to have her on our team!

Jason Canter

Jason has been in the Building Industry for over 20 years. He grew up helping his dad, who is a builder and Master Plumber. Jason joined The Lester Group in 2012. Currently, he works with the sales team as a "problem solver", fixing window and door issues for both Building Supply of Manassas and Jim Carpenter Company. Jason is an Andersen Certified Service Person (Andersen DSN), but he can service most window brands. Jason enjoys being able to look at something, diagnosing the issue, and resolving it. Jason is our "Swiss Utility Knife", and often you may find him assisting the team with running small orders to customers, ordering material, and takeoffs for Jamie, Chris, and Dave.

Jesse Stillions

Jesse has been in the industry since 1995, beginning his career at Smitty's in Northern Virginia. There he started as Yard Help, and worked his way up the chain into the position of Dispatch Manager. Jesse then expanded his career as Building Materials Manager, to Windows and Doors Manager at Lowe's for four years. Jesse joined The Lester Group in 2015. He leads our warehouse team, and our team of drivers. He and his team are the "backbone" of our company's success. Jesse is happily married to Angie, his wife of 20 years. They have two girls, Hope and Emma. Jesse enjoys collecting comic books, playing video games, and above all, spending time with his family. Along with his excellent leadership skills, Jesse brings to our company dedication and loyalty. We are proud that he chose to join our team!

Kelly Hale

Kelly is a newcomer to the Building Supply Industry, having previously worked at a medical office for over a decade. She joined The Lester Group in winter of 2020, eager to learn everything the industry has to offer and is excited to be part of the team. In her free time, Kelly enjoys reading, cooking, Washington Nationals baseball, and spending time with her husband and two dogs. With her eagerness to contribute, we are happy to have Kelly on our team!

Oscar Benitez

Oscar has been in the Building Industry ever since he was old enough to work. He has always worked the manual labor side of the industry. In 2019, Oscar joined The Lester Group team. He assists Brian in delivering orders to jobsites, and unloading them by hand. Oscar appreciates the physical nature of his job, and also the fact that every day brings new and interesting challenges. In his free time, Oscar enjoys spending time with his large family, both immediate and extended. He especially loves playing "American football" with his family-not to be confused with "football" (our form of soccer).

Patrick Flood

Patrick is new to the Building Supply Industry, and originally hails from New York. He began his "freshman year" in the industry in the fall of 2019 with The Lester Group. Prior to working with us, Patrick had extensive experience in shipping and receiving for a medical supply company and an electronic supply company. Patrick enjoys the camaraderie and the "unexpected" atmosphere his job brings on a daily basis. His days are always full of good surprises. He has already gained extensive amounts of knowledge of materials in his short time with us. He appreciates the training and advice received, most especially from industry veterans, Jesse and Billy. In his free time, Patrick enjoys participating in Boys Scouts with his kids, and spending time with his family. We are glad that Patrick decided to say good-bye to snowy New York and join our team in Virginia!
