Alex joined Gleason with over six years of "Big Four" public accounting experience. He offers expertise in intellectual property, forensic accounting, and other litigation support matters. Alex's IP experience includes performing analysis of commercial success and nexus as part of secondary considerations of nonobviousness in patent infringement cases within the pharmaceutical industry. He has also performed damages analyses, such as disgorgement, lost profits, and reasonable royalty calculations in other IP related matters.

Scott works extensively on forensic accounting, valuations, and economic loss engagements at Gleason. In addition, he has worked with the H. K. Porter Asbestos Trust and C. E. Thurston Asbestos Trust aiding with general administration duties and claims processing reviews.
Before joining the firm, Scott worked as an operations manager with Blue Beacon International Inc., where he aided in budget analysis and forecasting. Scott also oversaw the opening of three new facilities located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Mississippi. Scott's main responsibilities at these openings included new employee training and OSHA certification training of supervisors.

Doug is the leader of the firm's Personal Economic Damages practice and Energy Sector practice. Jerome (Jeb) Schmitt has more than 17 years of experience in financial, economic, and accounting matters. During his more than 13 years at Gleason, Jeb has focused on solving complex financial problems using advanced financial, accounting, economic, valuation, and investigative skills. He has substantial experience evaluating the financial statements and financial condition of businesses; interviewing management and key personnel; researching and understanding economic, industry, and competitive factors impacting a particular business or product line; identifying and developing businesses' core strategies; and providing sound solutions to complex problems in the form of advisory services, dispute resolution services, expert reports, and testimony.
Jeb is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and is Accredited in Business Valuation, Certified in Financial Forensics, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Justin Remlinger joined Gleason with three years of "Big Four" public accounting experience. He offers expertise in economic loss and litigation support engagements as well as business valuation experience involving shareholder disputes, financial reporting, acquisition/sale, lost profit claims, and a variety of other purposes.
Prior to joining the firm, Justin served as a senior associate with Deloitte & Touche LLP, employed in the AERS-Audit department. There, he provided various audit and assurance services to clients to ensure they were in compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and SEC reporting requirements. Certain tasks included internal control review and assessment, detailed financial statement analysis, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports while maintaining an objective mindset and applying the standards of professional skepticism. He served both privately held companies as well as SEC registrants and has experience in an array of industries, such as manufacturing, real estate, engineering and entertainment services, and nonprofits, among others. In addition, he gained experience managing projects through his extensive work among teams, developing and facilitating client relationships, and mentoring audit staff.
Previous experience in financial statement analysis and internal control structures allows Justin to provide services and expertise in the determination of lost profits and financial damages for litigation support, valuation consulting for business reorganizations, and findings and recommendations for internal control and fraudulent transaction investigations.

Megan provides litigation support for the intellectual property team involved in patent infringement cases by researching pertinent case law with consideration of developing precedents. Her research expands beyond legal analysis through documenting numerous factors in the pharmaceutical industry with a special focus on biologics and generic pharmaceutical drugs. Outside of the intellectual property team, she further assists with analyses and documentation in business litigation disputes, forensic accounting, and trust services.

Patrick supports many of the firm's financial consulting engagements, providing accounting and business analysis assistance, with specialization in large data analysis. He also has over five years of experience working with the H. K. Porter Asbestos Trust and C. E. Thurston Asbestos Trust, aiding with general administration duties, claims processing reviews, and annual budgeting. He has also participated in several of the firm's economic loss engagements.
Patrick served as an intern with the firm prior to becoming a permanent team member. In that role, he assisted with financial report analysis, database development, and the preparation of client reports and exhibits. Earlier, he was employed as a lead specialist with Education Management Corporation.
