Aisha Chevry was born and raised in New York, she grew up between Rockland County and Long Island. Aisha received a B.A in History from Lehman College in 2018 and is currently in her last year of her Master's program, majoring in Middle School and High School Education. Aisha has worked in Early Childhood Education for six years and is excited to embark on this journey in Middle School Education. Aisha hopes to bring a positive learning environment to Mott Haven Academy. Aisha's hobbies included reading, traveling, trying new cuisines, and cooking.
Anthony Cerasi received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. After graduating from SNHU 2015, he served in City Year, New Hampshire where he taught in a third grade classroom. Through his year of teaching, Anthony realized he always wanted to work with children. Anthony worked as a Socio-therapist for 2 years while applying to graduate schools for social work. He graduated from CUNY Lehman in May of 2020. Anthony spent his two years interning at Mott Haven Academy, and is now the middle school Social Worker.

Danielle Stettner was born and raised on Long Island and slowly made her way to a few different parts of the country before ending up back in New York. After graduating from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island with a degree in Elementary and Middle school education, Danielle moved to sunny Orlando, Florida where she taught 5th grade. After teaching for two years Danielle decided she wanted to come back to the northeast and study at Hunter College where she received her Master's in Special Education and Behavior Disorders. While in NYC, Danielle worked as a special education teacher in a 2nd and 3rd-grade classroom. Then, in 2016 she moved to Chicago where she worked with Middle School students as a Learning Behavior Specialist. While in Chicago she also earned a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Southern Illinois University. Behavior is something that is a passion for Danielle and she is very excited and happy to be back in her home state helping Haven scholars build their problem-solving toolbox! When Danielle is not at Haven, you can find her on Long Island spending time with her family and her dog Luna or trying to find the best brunch spot in NYC!

Greg Francis is an author and artist from Queens, New York. He grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, where he developed a passion for reading, writing, and sketching. After studying and earning his Bachelor's degree in Psychology, he self-published his first book, and became obsessed with helping others write stories of their own. These days, Greg enjoys traveling with his wife & three kids, and falling into YouTube rabbit-holes about all things 90's.

Jillien Outlaw is a fellow Bronxite dedicated to not only educating and inspiring young minds, but also helping break the stereotypes given to students living in the Bronx and other underserved communities. Ms. Outlaw received her Bachelor's Degree in English, with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. She then went on to receive her Master's Degree in TESOL Education. With eight years of experience, Ms. Outlaw's passion has never faltered and her students have always been her main priority.

Kalyca Thomas is originally from Central Florida. She is the granddaughter of an educator and was instructed by his colleagues in both middle and high school. Ms. Thomas is passionate about urban education and has been committed to student's academic and social emotional learning since 2004. She is also a New York State mediator and a former Chair of the Board for the Institute for Mediation and Conflict Resolution (IMCR).
