LYPP

LYPP is managed by a Board of 5 Trustees and a Treasurer, who between them hold expertise in financial, teaching, youth and insurance disciplines and meet 8 times per year. The day-to-day management of the project is overseen by the LYPP project manager, who holds responsibility for staff, volunteers and delivery of the organisation's activities... LYPP has 5 main areas of work which are co-ordinated from our office, within the ‘Lounge' youth centre. These areas are Schools Work, Lounge activities, Health and Wellbeing, low cost holiday programmes and youth work within Bridgend. To get an idea of the scale of the work we have been involved in during 2022/23, we provided over 60 drop in youth sessions in Linlithgow and more than 45 in Bridgend. Our mentoring programme has provided 259 sessions to 26 young people and our counselling session has provided 262 sessions of accessible low cost counselling.
