Markazul Ighasathil Khairiyathil Hindiyya (Relief and Charitable Foundation of India) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified non-denominational organization, founded in 2000, with its mission for uplifting the socio-cultural aspects of backward sections in the grassroots level. The genesis of RCFI is the inspiring vision of Indian Sufi Scholar Sheikh Aboobacker Ahmed to uplift the quality of lives of the most marginalised communities in different locations of the country. Sheikh Aboobacker Ahmed is a popular figure and the founder of many civil society organizations and by representing India in many peace and interfaith dialogues and conferences of national and international mandate. In 2000, he envisioned an expert professional agency which can facilitate communities in India in improving their quality of lives - hence began the journey of RCFI.
