Norman C. Nelson

Dr. Nelson received his undergraduate education from Tulane University, New Orleans where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Economics in 1982 and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine from 1982 to 1986. His internship was in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center, University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS from 1986 to 1987. Dr. Nelson's residency was in Ophthalmology at University Medical Center from 1987 to 1990. His Vitreoretinal Fellowship was at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, Louisiana from 1990 to 1992. He received his Board Certification, Diplomat, America Board of Ophthalmology in 1991. He is married and has three children.

Steven D. Allee

Dr. Allee graduated from from Gettysburg College with a B.A. in Biology in 1987 and Rutgers Medical School on 1992. He did his post graduate training at Jersey shore Medical Center, rotating internship in Neptune, NJ from 1992 to 1993. His Ophthalmology residency was at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA 1993 to 1996. His Vitreoretinal Fellowships with Dr. Gitter, Cohen, and Ross was in New Orleans, LA from 1996 to 1997. He received department honors in biology for outstanding academic achievement at Gettysburg College. He was on the Dean's List his junior and senior year. He did his Summer Research Fellowship at Rutgers Medical School and was selected as the senior student to the Academic Curriculum Committee and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha at Rutgers Medical School. He was Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at Geisinger Medical Center. He has been a member of the American Medical Association, Physicians for Social Responsibility, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology and American Academy of Ophthalmology.He enjoys golf, aviation, water sports, bicycling, running and outdoors.
