Coming from a long line of woodworkers, it looks like I have inherited some genetic memory. I've always been into music, but I don't think anyone expected me to build guitars for a living. I'm fortunate in that I've been working with some of the best luthiers about. During a visit to the States some years ago I was lucky enough to spend some time with Bob Benedetto in his factory in Savannah. His archtop guitars are simply amazing and his workshops so well organised and immaculate.
