TREADT(The Rural Education And Development Trust) is a registered NGO (Non Government Organisation) established to serve the children who are intellectually challenged, without any profit motive. TREADT runs a special school to provide whole some education and support intellectually challenged children. Currently the school has a strength of around 90 children... A group of like minded individuals come forward they could do something for the betterment of the chronically drought hit and poverty stricken Anantapur district and other parts of Andhra Pradesh, which face acute drinking and agricultural water supply. The district also has a sizable number of physically and mentally handicapped children. Due to poverty parents of these children are unable to send them to special schools. The thought soon took shape as some like minded officers of various banks and financial institutions apart from Philanthropists have come forward to support the project.
