MILWAUKEE RADIO AMATEURS' CLUB

The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs' Club (MRAC) is one of the oldest amateur radio clubs in the world, incorporated in 1917. The MRAC is also the oldest affiliated American Radio Relay League (ARRL) club, accepted in 1919... The MRAC is an all-service amateur radio club providing education, information, events, and activities for its members and community. We own a repeater that serves as a gathering spot for on-air camaraderie for rookies and OMs alike with multiple Nets serving different interests... The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs' Club provides a Ham Radio Boot Camp, a day-long series of how-to presentations, workshops, and a Q&A forum designed to help newly licensed operators get on the air. We recognize many newly licensed operators struggle with getting on the air to fully enjoy their new hobby, so we are extending the expertise of our club members to help new hams enjoy this fascinating hobby.
