vifGA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) created to serve as a central resource for visually impaired Georgians. Founded in 1997, vifGA was created to serve as a central resource for visually impaired Georgians... vifGA was founded by Low Vision Consultant and business owner, Wendy Mons. A graduate from the University of Texas with a five-year degree in education, visual impairment, and blindness, Ms. Mons works frequently with doctors, nurses, counselors and government officials to seek ways of providing continuing service and resources to the blind and visually impaired residents of Georgia.
