Compass was founded in 2017 in Lausanne, Switzerland, by Guillaume Le Fur and Edouard Mouton. Guillaume and Edouard had spent the last 15 years mastering the index industry, working at various banks, hedge funds and asset management firms. They realized that in order to design innovative products that would meet the needs of an evolving market, they needed more flexibility. So, they took their expertise in a new direction and created Compass... Compass is a small, Swiss-based index provider doing big things. Since 2017, we've pioneered index developments over multiple asset classes in response to the latest trends, continuing to push the limits with revolutionary technology.
