Lindsey's love of children is something she also applies to the practice of family law. Randi Benton is a California native and spent time living in Honolulu, San Francisco, and Miami before settling down in Nashville to attend law school. Randi studied at Nova Southeastern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and the Nashville School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
Randi worked as a legal assistant and paralegal during law school where she developed her interest and commitment to the practice of Family Law. After law school, she served as a Guardian ad Litem in Juvenile Court proceedings and as a domestic violence attorney for the Legal Aid Society. She then moved to private practice, focusing on family and juvenile law. While in private practice, Randi represented clients in several cases where she served as opposing counsel from attorneys at Digby Family Law. DFL attorneys were so impressed by Randi's zealous representation of her clients and her creative problem-solving, that we asked her to join our firm.
Randi is passionate about building better communities through child and family advocacy. She spent time volunteering with foster children and currently sits on the board of a local non-profit organization established to assist survivors of domestic violence.
Randi met her Husband in law school, and they are devoted pet parents to three dogs and three cats they adopted from farms, shelters, and other families. During their free time, they enjoy spoiling their nieces and nephews, spending time outdoors biking, hiking, and paddling throughout Tennessee's State parks and rivers, and trying new restaurants.
