In recent years we have expanded our capabilities to include development of standardized software for 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks. As an active member of 3GPP, Gatehouse Satcom is actively contributing to the standardization processes regarding 5G NTN and participating in ETSI and 3GPP working groups... Gatehouse Satcom is an embedded software expert, and we offer satellite communications protocol stacks, waveforms and test tools for terminals, satellites, and network infrastructure... We began our journey developing communications systems for ports and many of the same principles from VHF communications could be applied for satellite systems. Beginning in 2000, we established ourselves as the leading supplier of satcom terminal software for the Inmarsat BGAN system for aeronautical, maritime, and land terminal manufacturers. Since then, we have been involved in development, deployment and maintenance of more than 15 waveforms for satellite communications systems.
