MEWES-BRASS

In 1978 I started the apprenticeship as brass instrument maker in the German music industry stronghold Markneukirchen, and in 1986 I have received my master´s certificate. My mentor was the famous trumpet maker and good friend Martin Peter... In January 1987, I opened my own company. Since then I build brass instruments of high quality. The instruments are designed by me and produced by hand, they are not higher in price than the top instruments produced by the industry... My company is located in the beautiful scenic High Coast of Sweden. Mewes-Brass crafts high quality brass instruments through my creativity, combined experience, knowledge, accuracy and skill. My passion for the construction of these fine brass instruments is shown with the inherent artisan precision. All of the instruments I craft are fully in tune and have a full, resonant sound.
