Adam has more than 10 years' experience in accounting practice. He qualified in 2013 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2019, joining Armstrong Watson a year later as Accounting Manager.
Now a Senior Manager, Adam, who has lived in Cumbria all his life, works between Carlisle and West Cumbria. He has a mixture of clients in his portfolio including owner-managed businesses in hospitality, construction and software.
Adam believes in establishing close working relationships with his clients. He prides himself on developing trust and honestly, delivering on promises made and adding value to clients.

Alex has worked in financial planning since 2015 and became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2020. He is particularly specialised in retirement and inheritance tax planning, although provides guidance on a range of areas.
Prior to joining Armstrong Watson in 2023 he spent 9 years working in London, most recently assisting non-domiciles manage the financial complications of leading international lives. He has since returned to his hometown of Leeds, to be closer to family and enjoy the Yorkshire countryside in his free time.
Alex's range of experience has led him to enjoy working with clients of varied circumstances and to help them set the best course to accomplish their objectives.

Andrew is a farmer's son born and bred on a large Hill farm in North Cumbria and still regularly works on a friend's farm to keep his hand in. This gives him a great insight into the actual issues affecting farmers in their businesses and helps him back in the workplace.
Andrew studied at Newcastle Polytechnic and after qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1996 has concentrated on looking after and advising farming businesses and landed estates. He moved to Hexham in 1998 and now looks after agricultural businesses across the North of England and the borders from the Hexham office, using his years of experience and day to day knowledge to help his clients.

Andy heads the firm's nationwide services to the legal sector, covering all of the firm's offices, and has specialised exclusively in the legal sector since 2004. He provides merger, acquisition, disposal, valuation and forecasting services to law firms as well as helping firms to improve by working with them on formal strategic consultancy programmes, benchmarking and training courses.
Andy understands and proactively informs law firms on issues that may impact on them. He speaks at national solicitors' conferences and is a regular contributor to the legal press.
