Karl J. Krayer

Karl J. Krayer received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma, specializing in organizational communication. He is the President of Creative Communication Network, a full-service company offering speeches and presentations, training and custom consulting and meeting facilitation for individuals, groups and organizations. Karl is a nationally renowned speaker, author, executive coach, and consultant who works with corporations and associations who want to assess and improve competency, teamwork and communication. He also provides informative, dynamic and entertaining presentations and workshops for small businesses that want to increase productivity and profitability. Karl served on the faculties of Auburn and Texas Christian Universities before beginning a ten-year stint with Dr Pepper / Seven Up, Inc., as a Training Manager. He is a Past President of Dallas Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, and was named its "Professional of the Year" in 1990. He is an active member of the National Speakers Association and the DFW Organizational Development Network. During 2001-2002, he served the National Speakers Association of North Texas as President. Karl's training and organizational development interventions at Dr Pepper / Seven Up yielded significant results for the corporation in productivity, profitability and return on investment. His internal consulting efforts were instrumental in leading work reorganization and process improvement changes for the corporation's Marketing and Marketing Services divisions. Since 1998, Karl has consulted and facilitated for many major organizations, including Nokia, Texas Instruments, Aegon, TXU Energy, Hanson, Lucent Technologies, Cadbury Schweppes, Dal-Tile, Mary Kay, Hunt Oil, Citi, SAGE Telecom, Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Lincoln Property Company, YUM! Brands, Texas Department of Transportation, and Child Health Care Association. Karl now serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, teaching courses in Human Behavior in Organizations, Leading Change, and Negotiation. Karl has presented addresses to conferences of more than 75 professional and academic associations and has written more than 25 articles in refereed trade, industrial and academic publications.

Randy Mayeux

Randy Mayeux is a professional speaker and writer, and a doctoral candidate in Communication from the University of Southern California. He gives more than 450 public presentations annually to various business and government audiences, non-profit groups and associations, and professional conferences. He is the Founder and a former Vice-President of Creative Communication Network, a full-service communication company offering speeches and presentations, training and custom consulting and meeting facilitation for individuals, groups and organizations. After graduating from Abilene Christian University with a B.A., where he lettered four years in tennis, he earned his M.A. from Pepperdine University, where he later served as Chairman of the Chancellor's Council. He has appeared as a guest on numerous local and national radio stations. He appears monthly before audiences at Dallas-area retirement centers, and has authored articles in professional journals, guest columns in the The Dallas Morning News, and a book on spiritual growth. His monthly First Friday Book Synopsis at the Dallas Park City Club attracts capacity crowds of business professionals from throughout the metroplex, and is now in its eighth year of existence. Randy is a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Speakers Association of North Texas. His specialties include communication skill training and personal productivity topics such as change management, time and project management, stress management, personal development, self-improvement, team and group relationships and motivation. Randy has worked with organizations such as Hunt Oil, Software Spectrum, Tetra Pak, Mary Kay, Cadbury Schweppes, Hilton Hotels, Ericsson, Texas Instruments, Resource One Credit Union, and many others. Randy also has consults with nonprofits, and is especially interested in matters of social justice and poverty. He speaks monthly for the Urban Engagement Book Club for CitySquare, and continues to write and speak on issues related to civil rights in the social justice arena. (This was an area of focus in his graduate school work).
