CGC CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AND DEVELOPMENT - Key Persons
Christopher Calva has over 28 years' experience in the construction field; his background consists of the construction of single family homes, office buildings, retail centers, commercial and medical buildings.
Christopher's duties have been primarily field management and supervision. Recently Chriss has been involved with many projects from the planning stages through acceptance from the owners. Presently Mr. Calva is active in the supervision of multiple 7-Eleven retail buildings and multiple public work tenant improvements.
Daniel Calva has over 45 years' experience in the construction management field; from the years 1970 to 1978 he was employed by Crowell & Leventhall Developers, now CL homes as a project manager/ superintendent, responsible for the housing projects from twenty to fifty homes as well as shopping and retail centers.
Mr. Calva's responsibilities included mass grading, underground infrastructure, sewer, water, gas, and power, on and off-site improvements, curb, gutter, sidewalks, paved streets and landscape, complete construction from the permitting stage to completion and owner occupancy.
From the years 1979 to 1985 Mr. Calva developed speculation homes for sale as well as contracted with clients to construct larger custom homes. These homes averaged from 3,500 to 6,000 square feet and were located in Diamond Bar Country Estates, Orange Park Acres Claremont and Villa Park California. During this period Mr. Calva also constructed various multifamily residences ranging in size from four-plex to fifty unit complexes and retail shopping centers and strip malls.
During the period of 1985 to 1993; Mr. Calva's construction expertise not only was with residential projects but included fast food and family restaurants, retail centers, medical centers, commercial office buildings and retail shopping complexes. He had constructed projects in the states of California, Washington, and Oregon.
From 1993 to present Mr. Calva on various levels has worked with multiple corporations and partnerships. He currently enjoys being in the field as a hands-on superintendent, but also plays a dominant role as a project coordinator and business director.
Kathleen Calva has been involved in the construction industry for over 30 years.
Previously Mrs. Calva's responsibilities included construction accounting, human resources, and office management. She is well versed with bidding, estimating projects, project engineering. Currently, Kathleen is largely in charge of field management.
Mrs. Calva has prepared as well as monitored all document recordation, field and office reports, checklists and payments application for state and federally funded prevailing wage, city owner, commercial, retail and residential projects.
Over the years Mrs. Calva has worked with many of the owners and lending institutions, she has the ability to communicate knowledgeably with all organizations and individuals involved with each project, at all levels.
Nadine Moats primary responsibilities are office related. She is the office receptionist but also works closely with our bookkeeping and human resources team. Nadine is also our project admin and is involved with site inspections and client reports.
