Dr. Brian Lang

As Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman of The British Library, he led the final delivery and occupation of the British Library in London, the most substantial UK public building of the 20th century and established the digitisation of this world leading institution. Brian has built partnerships and collaborative programmes with major international institutions at the highest level - universities, companies and security organisations. Between 2001 and 2008, as Principal and Vice Chancellor of the University of St. Andrews, he embarked on a leadership development programme which contributed to making the University one of the top five UK universities. Under his charge, powerful schools emerged within the University including International Relations, Middle East Studies, Medicine and Environmental Sustainability. He successfully steered media and stakeholder interest during the sensitive period of Royal presence at St. Andrews. Brian sits on the International Board of the University of Oman, and on the Board of the National Museums of Scotland. He chairs the Edinburgh World Heritage Trust, has completed two terms as Chair of the Heritage Lottery Fund in Scotland and as Deputy Chair of the UK's National Heritage Memorial Fund. He chaired, for seven years, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He has sat on numerous UK Government commissions on culture, education, research and museums and galleries, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He has advised a number of universities in the US and the Middle East, and is based in Edinburgh and France Dr. Brian Lang has over thirty years' experience of top leadership in some of the UK's most important education, heritage and research organisations.

Ghalia Alul is our Advisor in Dubai. She specialises in helping governments and large organisations adopt a new approach to communications Ghalia Alul has more than 20 years of experience in the world of communications in different challenging capacities. She spent the early years of her career as a journalist and has experience in establishing and managing public affairs and communication departments for various political and non-governmental institutions. Ghalia served as communication director and deputy chief of staff for Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan, and director of communications for the Jordanian Government where she was closely engaged in the country's general election, two cabinet reshuffles and a change in prime minister. She specialises in helping governments and large organisations adopt a new approach to communications through the development of sustainable communication structures, supported by clear systems and processes. Since 2012 Ghalia has helped governments of Sharjah and Bahrain establish central communication functions fully capable of sustaining a unified government message and coordinated activity across key organisations and ministries. Sue Rizzello has more than 30 years' experience helping organisations of all sizes to communicate their ideas and formulate effective strategic marketing plans.

Lord McConnell

Tari is a trained and accredited executive coach. Between 1988 and 1995, Tari Lang was Director and subsequently Managing Director of The Rowland Company. She was CEO of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide's UK operation until 2001 when she left to found ReputationInc, the reputation management consultancy based in London, Dubai and Dublin.
