PADEN LAND AND TIMBER - Key Persons
Johnathan Rizer joined the Paden Land and Timber team in 2020. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Forest Resource Management, prescribed fire manager and experienced Forester. He is currently continuing his education at Clemson University with a degree in Environmental Resource Management. Prior to joining Paden Land and Timber Jonathon worked with Folk Land Management as a Consulting Forester. Jonathan and his wife Samantha Rizer are proud parents of John Mack Rizer.
Kim Barker works as our office manager, assisting with day-to-day financial operations. She is a vital part of our company working diligently to review logging statements, mill tickets, and load sheets. She is exceptionally talented at making sure our clients receive the money they are owed. Kim Barker moved here from Iowa in 2015. Prior to working with Paden Land and Timber Kim owned and operated National Poultry Equipment Company. Her expertise and experience is a valued asset. Kim is married to Gorden Barker and is the proud mother of two boys.
Scott R. Paden began his career in real estate after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Business Finance. After closing over 130 transactions in under 6 years, Scott then attended Clemson University and graduated with a Master's degree in Forest Resource Management. Upon completion of his Master's degree, Scott spent a considerable amount of time as a field forester obtaining vital "boots on the ground" knowledge and experience.
While Scott enjoyed field forestry the most out of all of his experiences, his talents led him to a highly successful real estate sales career that focused solely on the timberland asset class. Working with private and corporate timberland owners, Scott has closed over 18 million dollars in transactions to date.
