Sara R. Werner has been an associate with the firm since 2015. She began her tenure focusing on all aspects of land use and zoning law, including the representation of clients in connection with applications for site plan and subdivision approval, as well as variance relief. Recognizing that these clients often require services that are related to their land use goals, such as the drafting and negotiation of real estate agreements and leases, she has since expanded her practice to include a wide array of transactional matters.
Moreover, Sara works in conjunction with the other attorneys in the office in the representation of individual municipalities of the State of New Jersey in the firm's capacity as municipal solicitor, as well as the representation of municipal land use boards in the firm's capacity as board solicitor.
Prior to joining Prime & Tuvel, Sara worked in a small firm in Center City Philadelphia where she gained vast litigation experience; having spent most of her days in the court room representing individuals in landlord/tenant, code enforcement and small claims matters.
In addition to securing approvals before local boards and effectively representing clients in both municipal and county courts, Sara has successfully first-chaired cases in both bankruptcy and federal court within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Sara received her undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Criminal Justice, from Widener University in Chester, PA and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE (now known as Delaware Law School).
In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and son; whether it be exploring local parks and hiking trails or hanging out at home watching movies and playing with blocks.
