THE OKRA INN

We strive to create a quirky but comfortable environment. We work with local artists to have their art on display to increase their exposure. And we are constantly exploring ways to make The Okra Inn a greater resource to the community and more environmentally sustainable... It's not uncommon to meet someone who lives in New Orleans who says "I came here for a weekend. I fell in love with the city, and that weekend lasted the rest of my life." At The Okra Inn, we want to be the place that makes you fall in love with New Orleans... Our newest team member, David joined in summer 2023. As of early 2024, his primary duty is to sleep through the night, and his interests are mainly his feet.
