Specialising in Public Law and Children Matters, Lesley acts for children through their guardians throughout South Wales. She has been a member of The Law Society Children Panel since 1998 and has rights of audience in civil matters in The Higher Courts of England and Wales. Since qualifying in 1994 Lesley has worked almost exclusively in the field of public law child care and adoption work but has also undertaken a significant amount of private cases. She has also acted for children through their court appointed guardians and acted for Local Authorities throughout South Wales. Joining Hopkins Law earlier this year we welcome her wide range of experience in child care cases in all tiers of the court system.

Liane is head of Property and Private Clients. In addition to this role Liane also manages the Firm.
Following qualification, Liane practised as an in-house lawyer at the Principality Building Society followed by responsibility for the management of the Deeds Department and then Mortgage Administration and Insurance Department , roles which have helped Liane combine legal expertise with management. After six years with Principality Building Society Liane moved to Eversheds where she helped establish their direct sales and purchase conveyancing arm, including a Call Centre.
Liane joined Hopkins Law as a Partner in November 2007 to head the firm's Property Department. Her years of experience allow her to deal with all aspects of property transactions, including Commercial and Residential Sales and Purchases, Leases, Remortgages and Equity Release.

Mark is head of Civil and Commercial Litigation. He has many years' experience of all aspects of contentious matters, including company and corporate, consumer, contract and probate disputes, as well as boundary and property law. He has also advised on employment and family law for many years and is an excellent advocate. In addition, Mark advises on corporate law, personal and commercial insolvency and acquisitions. He regularly takes instructions on wills and trusts, as well as lasting powers of attorney. Mark is a senior lawyer, having been head of department, partner and director at a number of well-known firms, and prides himself on outstanding client care.
