As the CEO for the Renewable Energy Business he is responsible for the REB as a profit centre and for the growth and development of the business across all formats of the Platform. Mr. Gupta is an Engineer with over 25 years of work experience, and has a commendable work experience in managing and executing projects.
With over 35 years experience and a Chartered Accountant by qualification, he has been instrumental in governing the financial management and reporting practices of the various Group companies.
An entrepreneur with a definite vision, he brings over 12 years industry experience to the group. He has been responsible for designing deliberate objectives and framework for strategic decision making for the Groups businesses in areas of finance & banking, strategic partnerships, growth initiatives and acquisition decisions.
Mr. Kishore Kumar Atha is the driving force behind the Group. With over four decades of experience in the iron ore mining industry, he has been pivotal in taking the family iron ore business to the heights it has now scaled up to.
Vice President of the Renewable Energy division, Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and has over 30 years of experience in project management, engineering, operation and maintenance. Over the years he has executed many projects at national and international level and has exposure to public sector, utilities and defense sector. He has over 28 years of experience in Project Electro-Mechanical construction, Engineering, Resource Planning & Control, Quality Assurance, and Project Management, Construction & Execution of Power / Infrastructure Projects. He is proficient in engineering, planning and execution of projects and has managed a wide spectrum of projects while curtailing the execution costs and expenses.
A B.Com, LLB and FCS by qualification, he is the Group President (Corporate Affairs). He plays an important role in overseeing and advising the Group on compliance, administrative, financial and strategic matters.
Head of EPC & Design, Mr. Roy is a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and MBA (Finance) he has over 27 years of experience in various functional and strategic areas of thermal power and Renewable energy sector. He has been involved in power projects execution, power plant operation and the power distribution business. He has been responsible for overall planning, monitoring and execution of multi crore Mega thermal power projects. He has accomplished various operational performance improvement assignments mostly in energy & Infrastructure sectors, initiative for improvement in customer satisfaction index, Preparation of Business and Finance models for power Trading business. He has lead the EPC contract negotiation in coordination with other senior group level leadership, project concept building, supervise all aspects of plant construction and contract monitoring, hand-over and operation and maintenance monitoring for portfolio of solar power plants and support opportunities to expand the solar power plant portfolio all over the world.
With over 12 years of experience, he plays a major role in the streamlining the renewable Energy portfolio and generating cost economies through effective resource planning and project management. He is responsible for the Group's business and initiatives in petro carbon and chemicals.
Senior Vice President (Finance & Strategy) for the Group, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant with an M.B.A from an Ivy League business school. He brings over a decade of experience and is responsible for the entire Group's fund raising and corporate strategy and structuring. He plays a vital role in strategic planning and financial analysis for the Group.
