EAST EDEN VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY

The East Eden Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. was established in 1923 as an all-volunteer not-for-profit Fire Company in the Town of Eden, New York. The Company is comprised of many active members who devote countless hours of their personal time to serve and protect the residents and property in the surrounding area. The Town of Eden covers 40 square miles and is protected by services split between the Eden and East Eden Fire Companies... The East Eden Fire Company covers an area of approximately 40 square miles on a first alarm, automatic mutual aid basis. Although our district is mostly comprised of agricultural operations and residential dwellings, our immediate fire protection area within the Town has three public schools, two main highways (including part of the NYS Thruway), numerous businesses, two gas stations, and many large farms. We also protect four churches, two elderly care facilities, and several homes with physically-impaired individuals.
