Excellent staff. Mark Goodwin is a great guy and his staff, Nikki, is excellent as well. If Nikki misses a phone call she immediately calls you back when she's available and they are always willing to answer any questions. We've used eGoodwin for the business I work for the past couple of years and the willingness to answer questions and help with claims is always done quickly and professionally. The staff is very friendly as well and they found us the lowest rate out of any agency we inquired with.On a personal side, after a tree fell in my yard last year my home owner's insurance (that I did not get through eGoodwin) doubled. I grew up in Marion, Ohio, and attended River Valley HS. I went on to graduate from The Ohio State University and was active in Student Government and the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. I began my 10-year stint serving in the Ohio Army National Guard while attending OSU. I have been a licensed insurance industry professional since 1990. Following the footsteps of my father, I took over the local family agency and turned it into a regional powerhouse. The agency has grown with clients throughout central Ohio and now has a second location in Powell, Ohio.
What excites me most about my work is I like to help people through their insurance-buying decisions by giving friendly professional advice and choices of quality protection. I have been active in the Big I Insurance Association and the Professional Insurance Agents Association. I co-founded a local chapter of Business Networking International that has become the largest and fastest-growing group in Ohio. I am a founding member of the National Society of Agents for Consumer Education and make countless valuable reports and videos available to my client base.
Personally, I'm passionate about music, my crazy Jack Russel terriers, and OSU! Something a lot of customers might not know about me is I have been a keyboard player my whole life. Music has taken me all over the world, introduced me to wonderful people, and let me give joy to people of all ages. When I'm not working, I enjoy the outdoors whether it's home maintenance, hiking, cycling, fishing, golfing, or just sitting on the deck looking at the woods behind my house.
I also volunteer my time by playing in many worship bands in churches across Ohio. I love giving my talent in worship. I am passionate about our Veterans, helping the needy, and dog shelters/adoptions.
