After a group of emergency room physicians had negative experiences with national scribe company's, INScribe was born in 2017. These physicians decided to employ their own scribes themselves in 2015, slowly expanding their services. After two years, they realized that they could produce a higher quality and consistent service in the Indiana market... We ask all incoming scribes to plan for approximately two weeks of classroom training (this may be less, depending on which department you hire into). For hands-on training, most scribes are successful and ready to be independent after 5-8 training shifts.
