Since 1962, KOA has been delivering outdoor hospitality to every type of camper: travelers looking for an overnight stay, families seeking a fun, outdoor getaway, and retirees enjoying an extended winter stay in one of KOA's southern destinations. While KOA is proud of our consistency with amenities, our campgrounds range in size, site type, and location. Our smallest campgrounds support less than 100 RV sites, and our largest resort-style properties have over 500 sites with dining, pools, and plenty of outdoor recreation... Kampgrounds of America, Inc is a franchise company, and our campgrounds are independently owned and operated. This allows them to make their own business decisions, including which vendors to use. The KOA corporate office doe neither direct purchasing nor distributing for its campgrounds. Our role is to assist our campgrounds by building relationships with suppliers who provide superior pricing and service on products needed for their operation.
