SMA OPERATIONS

SMA Ops began managing operations of the City of Las Vegas Water Treatment Plant in 2018 and the Waste Water Treatment Plant (2.4 MGD) in early 2019. SMA Ops has full time staff at each site and work with the City operators to perform ongoing O&M tasks. The source water for the WTP is the Gallinas River. SMA Ops also manages the collection system for the City as part of the WWTP efforts and the WWTP provides reclaimed water for irrigation at various parks and fields in the City... SMA and SMA Ops have provided professional consulting services to the Town of Taos on a variety of infrastructure improvements projects for more than fifteen years. The Taos WWTF upgrades began in 2007 with modifications to the facility Headworks. In 2010, the facility underwent a major upgrade to the Zenon Zeeweed membrane system.
