STUTT'S PHARMACY

The history of Orono's Drug Store is intimately linked to the pharmacist-owners over the years. Since 1868, the drug store has been occupied by the following pharmacists: Lorenzo A. Gamsby (1868 - 1894), J.J. Gilfillan (1894 - 1937), C.B. Tyrrell (1937 - 1961), J.H. Stutt & Betti Stutt (1961 - 1997), Tino Montopoli & Christine Maloley (1997 - 2017) and currently Peter Hanna and Raymond Bishay... Fast forward to today Peter and Raymond purchased the store from Tino Montopoli and his wife, Christine Maloley. Both graduates of the class of 2006 at the University of Toronto, are now the proud owners of Stutt's Pharmacy. They also acquired Diabetes Depot, a site dedicated to improving the lives of Canadians living with Diabetes, and providing patients with an extensive line of Diabetes Care Products, which includes Insulin Pump supplies.
