Dr. Susan E. Clark

Dr. Susan Clark is a Registered Psychologist and co-founder of the Calgary-based private practice: Taylor Clark Psychological Services. Dr. Clark has extensive clinical and forensic experience, in Canada and the USA, specializing in divorce and separation. She is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists, the Psychologists Association of Alberta, the Canadian Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). She currently holds a position on the Board of Directors for AFCC Alberta Chapter. Dr. Clark annually volunteers her time as an Expert Witness for the University of Calgary Trial Advocacy Program. Dr. Clark has a wealth of clinical experience working with children and families dealing with severe trauma and abuse. She has expertise providing psychological services and consultation for children and adolescents required to testify in criminal and civil hearings, as well as conducting comprehensive assessments for Child Protective Services and the Department of Justice, in San Diego, California. Dr. Clark has lectured at the University level and presented at nationally and internationally renowned conferences. Dr. Clark has been qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony in both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta. Most recently, she contributed to the latest provisions of the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench Practice Note 7 and 8. Dr. Clark's involvement within the psycho-legal arena has led her to specialize in high conflict Child Custody Evaluations, Parent Consultant, Views of the Child Interventions, Mediation, Parenting Coordination-Arbitration, Reunification Therapy, and Litigation Support. Dr. Clark's current clinical practice includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. She provides individual and couples therapy. Her special interests include: life transitions, interpersonal relationships, human sexuality, trauma, stress management, as well as anxiety and depression.

Hanita R. Dagan

Hanita Dagan is a Registered Psychologist and Member of the College of Alberta Psychologists, the Psychologists Association of Alberta and the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. She is also a Registered Parenting Coordinator and Arbitrator with the Alberta Family Mediation Society, a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Registry of Marriage and Family Therapists, as well as a Member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. For over a decade, she was a psychologist at an internationally renowned psychology Institute, receiving specialized training from some of the world's most eminent therapists. Subsequently, she was a senior therapist at an Edmonton treatment center, directing the assessment and treatment of adolescents and their families. Hanita has extensive experience working with relationships in general and high conflict families in particular. This has led her to focus her practice on high conflict issues, utilizing her expertise through; Mediation, Parenting Coordination, Parenting Time/Parenting Responsibilities Assessments (Bilateral Parenting Assessments), Practice Note 7 Interventions, (both Evaluative and Therapeutic), Parenting Counselling, as well as Counselling for Marital and Relationship concerns. Hanita has been qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony to both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta. She has presented at international conferences, lectured at the university level and has been involved in postgraduate teaching and supervision. Currently, she is a member of the board of the College of Alberta Psychologists. Hanita has volunteered as an Expert Witness for the University of Calgary Trial Advocacy Program. Hanita is an active member of the Calgary community and has held numerous positions including that of President, on a number of charitable organization boards.

Terra D. Taylor

Terra Taylor is a Registered Psychologist, and co-founder, in private practice at Taylor Clark Psychological Services in Calgary, Alberta. Her license is registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and she is a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Canadian Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. She is committed to professional development and regularly attends conferences and workshops. Terra has lectured at a University level, and she has presented internationally. She has been qualified as an expert and testified in the Provincial Court of Alberta and in the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench. One of Terra's primary interests is working with families of divorce and separation, and she has been practicing in this specialty for over a decade. In this role she conducts a variety of interventions including, but not limited to, Practice Note 7 Therapeutic and Evaluative Interventions (i.e. The Views of the Child; Therapeutic Intervention with One Parent, Both Parents, Child Only, Parents and Children). She regularly meets with children in the role of Child Consultant, to collect a child's experiences, needs, opinions and views; and provides this feedback to parents and/or third-party decision-makers. She assists and supports families during and after their family transition, which encompasses roles such as Divorce Consultant and counselling for adults. Another predominant focus of Terra's practice is individual counselling for adults. She has had extensive experience working in a University setting as well as in her private practice. She provides counselling with primary focuses on depression, anxiety, self- esteem, stress management, relationship matters and issues surrounding grief and loss.
