Cali Rhein resides in Cincinnati, OH, with her husband, Kirk, and their two sons, Kane (7) and Cruz (6). Kirk and Cali have been together for nearly 20 years and spend their free time traveling with their sons and trying to experience the world in every way possible! Their passion for travel has played a large part in their journey to becoming a part of the Wade's Team as Cali met Derick while Derick and Kirk were in Panama City for their first Ironman race! Cali has worked in Media for the last two decades specializing in Marketing, Social Media and Content Creation. She loves interior design and capturing the perfect staging and design process in making a house a home. She is thrilled to be a part of the Wade's team and looks forward to building their online presence.
After serving as General Manager for 6 years, Derick purchased Wade's Carpet & Interiors in March of 2017. Since then, he has rebranded the company and has personally selected an entire new team.
Derick takes great pride in the company's core values, with servanthood being the one he speaks of the most. Having been in the flooring industry for over 20 years, his understanding of the business is unparalleled. He believes that serving people is one of the greatest privileges one could have. Serving customers, vendors, and each other well, along with being committed to excellence is what drives him every day. He's been quoted saying, "I have the best team in the industry."
Derick and his wife Whitney have 4 children together. Family and faith are very important to him. He enjoys fishing, sports, camping, hunting, traveling, hiking, and pretty much any outdoor activity. A fun fact about Derick is that he completed Ironman Florida for three consecutive years (2020, 2021, and 2022).
Don is a Salesperson that wants to work with you to find the right floor covering for your home or business. Don's experience in retail and customer service has helped him to understand what is important in building relationships with customers, ensuring that you are happy with the look and feel of your new floors.
Don was excited to join the team at Wade's in 2016. During his time here he has acquired a broad knowledge of tile, carpet, wood, and wood look floor coverings. He is passionate about finding the perfect option for your home or business.
Don enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and grandson. For years, he has tried to rid his golf game of a nasty slice. He serves his local church as a teacher and deacon, all while being an avid fan of the Florida Gators.
Don holds an A.A. from MCC in literature.
Gabby Coulter is a Florida native who grew up in the beautiful Bradenton area. Gabby obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University all while competing as a Collegiate Volleyball player.
She began her career at Wade's Interiors assisting customers throughout the showroom and fulfilling other administrative tasks. Gabby is an aspiring sales associate and is thrilled to gain more knowledge within the Hunter Douglas products. Her experience with leadership roles and team settings allows her to build relationships to best serve the customers.
Jennifer specializes in residential interior design. She has extensive knowledge of Hunter Douglas window products and treatments, along with wood, vinyl, and tile flooring options. Her 30+ years of design experience has made her an expert in solving any design, budget, or functionality challenge.
She prides herself on ensuring every client receives her best work and is completely satisfied with the finished product.
Jennifer is from Springfield, Ohio. She has an associate degree in business management from Columbus Business University, and a BA in Interior Design from Ohio State University. She also graduated from Shaw Flooring Institute of Technology.
Jennifer and her husband, James live in Bradenton. They enjoy traveling and their RV. They enjoy spending time with their six children and their six grandchildren along with their two dogs Gracie and Petra.
Wade's Interiors has utilized Jim's organizational talents since coming aboard in 2015. He is responsible for customer satisfaction. Jim acts as a liaison on the Wade's team. To achieve his goals, you will not find him sitting behind a desk as his typical workday takes place out in the field fulfilling duties such as monitoring job sites progress, sharing information and ensuring that the Wade's Team is continuing to deliver quality work.
Joelle Coulter was born and raised locally here in Bradenton Florida. Joelle has received her bachelor's degree studying Psychology from Eckerd College while also taking on the role and a collegiate indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player. Having Joelle with our Wade's team adds great work ethic and pursuit for greatness for customers and team members.
Joelle has joined the Wade's team as an administrative assistant.
In Joelle's free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, relaxing on a beach or boat, and traveling to meet new people and experience new things!
Karen has been part of the Wade's Interior team since 2011 and offers a one-on-one product selection service to our builder's clients, designers, and our retail customers. She stays involved with each project until completion, often visiting the job sites. Constantly updating our tile & stone showroom with exciting new elements, Karen's knowledge & experience will bring together beautiful surfaces for your unique space.
For over 30 years, Karen has worked in all phases of the building industry. Although holding a degree in early childhood education, home design will always be her passion.
Karen and her husband of 34 years have raised three children in Manatee County. Having recently earned the title of first-time grandparents, they enjoy weekend family gatherings and getaways.
Larry Wade opened Wade's Interiors in October 1979. His journey began as an exclusive carpet store. His wife, Lynn eventually joined him bringing interiors to the business. Wade's Interiors now offers not only carpet, but hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank, tile, stone, blinds, shutters, window treatments, draperies, bedding, upholstery, and wallpaper. Whether you're building, renovating, or updating your home, our team will assist you in making your vision become a reality.
In March 2017, Derick Johnson purchased the business from Larry and Lynn. He had been the acting General Manager for over 5 years before purchasing their business. Derick has a tremendous desire to serve his customer's with excellence. He considers it a privilege to serve and it is very evident that his entire staff has the same desire. "There is not another company that cares about their clients as much as Wade's. Our desire is to earn your business for life".
Sarah Grace is Derick's youngest daughter and she is in the 8th grade. While not in school, cheering, or playing volleyball, you can find her at the office helping in every department. She brings a great energy to the office and she has a keen eye for design.
Tim has been with Wade's Interiors for 3 years. While heading our Commercial Division, Tim has recently taken on the role of our company's Office Operations Manager. After obtaining his bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida, he moved to Vegas pursuing a career fulfilling his dream as an acrobat in Le Reve - The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas, an industry favorite having been voted Best Production Show in Las Vegas for nine consecutive years.
After eleven years, he returned home and began working with the Wade's team. Tim loves the outdoors with fishing and boating being his favorites. He also enjoys working out to continue his healthy lifestyle. Along with his 2003 National Championship Team, Tim was inducted to the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame, Class of '23.
Whitney is a 7th generation Florida Native who enjoys giving back to the community and sharing time with family and friends. Together, her and her husband Derick have 4 children who often help in the family business. Whitney uses her background in administration and customer service to be a helping hand in assisting team members as well as our customers. To her, the customer experience at Wades Interiors is of utmost importance. Every day is a new adventure of learning something new in the industry, and she is looking forward to a long future with an incredible team!
