Dr. Carly Straus grew up in Ulysses, KS and currently resides in Hortonville, WI. She earned her undergraduate degree and DVM degree from Kansas State University. Dr. Carly joined We Care Animal Hospital following graduation in July of 2025. Her special interests are client education, internal medicine, surgery, and large animal medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Carly likes to spend time with her pets and her husband Bryan. She enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, camping, boating, reading, and spending time with family.

Dr. Amy Ryckman

"Dr. Amy Ryckman grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and currently resides in Luxemburg. She completed her undergraduate degree at UW River Falls and earned a DVM degree from St. George's University of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed an equine internship at Pine Bush Equine in New York that focused heavily on equine lameness, dentistry and overall ambulatory medicine. In addition to preventive care, Dr. Ryckman is interested in equine medicine, lameness, dentistry as well as companion animal medicine and surgery. In her free time, Dr. Amy enjoys spending time with her horse, seven cats, two dogs, camping, riding ATVs, and attending off road truck racing."

Dr. Chelsie Keiper

"Dr. Chelsie Keiper grew up in Hermantown, MN and currently resides in Clintonville, WI. She earned her undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University and later a DVM degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Keiper joined We Care Animal Hospital following graduation in June of 2022. Her special interests include internal medicine, preventative care, client education, and equine dentistry. Dr. Keiper and her husband, Zach, have two children, Lennox and Carson. They share their home with 2 cats and 2 dogs. In her free time, Dr. Keiper enjoys lake life, traveling, camping, baking, and spending time with her family."

"Dr. Michelle Immel grew up in Peoria, Illinois and currently resides in New London, Wisconsin. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Platteville and later a DVM degree from St. George's University. Dr. Immel began working at We Care Animal Hospital in March of 2017. Her special interests include theriogenology. In her spare time, Dr. Immel enjoys playing tennis and hiking in the Wisconsin State Parks, especially in the summer. She also likes traveling and hopes to visit every state within the United States by the time she retires. Dr. Immel has 3 cats and 2 dogs and hopeful she will be able to add a goat to the crew sometime soon!"
